The PPI panel consist of four women from underserved groups and/or with lived experience of perinatal mental health problems based in Sheffield and Doncaster.
We consult with our PPI panel and independent professional stakeholders as part of a joint Project Steering Committee (PSC) to ensure the intervention is targeting specific needs of underserved women with a high risk of perinatal mental health problems.
Role of the PPI Panel:
Review patient facing documents.
Support the co-production of new materials to ensure they are accessible, patient friendly and culturally sensitive.
Support with analysing the focus groups to help understand what participants are discussing.
Help design what the intervention will look like, in terms of what matters most to people in the community.
Support with ideas on how to spread results and awareness of the project, as well as getting involved with presenting findings and producing summaries.
